Traveling - like life - doesn't always go as planned

Since launching Travel LISTTIN, LLC (travel planning and companionship because Life Is Short; The Time Is Now), I have heard so much enthusiasm for the concept! Also, in nearly half those interactions and conversations, folks tell me about a time when their travel plans went awry. Yes, when we are dealing with Mother Nature and the elements - trains and planes will get canceled or delayed, roads will close or detours will take more of our time than anticipated, and hotels and camppgrounds can suffer catastrophes that force them to cancel reservations. People contribute to the uncertaintly of travel (and life!) as well. However - the added benefit of having a LISTTIN companion with you, means that there is someone designated to resolve the issue for you. We don't just coordinate and plan your journey - we are right there with you! Our support is in person and in the moment - not over the phone and only during business hours in a different time zone. Maybe we have to scramble a reservation, rent a car, change trains or planes, or even circle back or back track. Maybe we wait out a flash flood in a gas station - snacking while the rain pours down, have to download a new audiobook or podcast while we wait in traffic or drive the extra miles of a detour, or we end up on a red eye flight... Whatever obstacles arise, LISTTIN will be there with you - navigating and recalculating to ensure that we get the adventure back on track. You get to be a part of the process - deciding what you are willing and able to do to change plans - and together we can make memories and share experiences as we make our way to the destination or event. So, fear not! We are in this together! (Random list of disappointments I have faced while traveling (and learned from!): - missed connections for flights - missing luggage - being at the wrong airport (when there is more than one in a city) - hotel canceling reservation for emergency maintenance and construction - road closures - subway closures - COVID travel restrictions - car rentals unavailable in the size I reserved (free upgrade!) - bank denying charges because I neglected to tell them ALL the countries I would be in - weather related cancellations for hiking, campsites, hot springs, trail rides, flights, and boat tours
